We travel to Wallace Rockhole, taking in the West MacDonnell Ranges scenic beauty along the way. On arrival you are taken on a guided Rockhole tour, experiencing unique carved rock art and learning about bush medicine and bush tucker (food).
After the Rockhole walk we sample some kangaroo and freshly baked damper for morning tea. We then sit down and participate in an amazing Aboriginal dot painting workshop, which gives people a better understanding of the Aboriginal art and culture that dates back thousands of years.
On arrival, enjoy a fresh, salad lunch. We drive to Hermannsburg Heritage Precinct, the first Aboriginal mission in the territory. See the historic Lutheran mission buildings and enjoy the Hermannsburg Watercolour Gallery.
PLEASE NOTE: You must be sure-footed to take part in the Rockhole walk.
